Saffron & Sparkling Wine Candle
A brushed silver tin with a seated lid, hand-poured in small batches in Jonesboro, Georgia — with real saffron threads set into the wax.
Saffron opens dry and faintly honeyed. Sparkling wine lifts over the top — citrus peel, white flowers, a trace of yeast and toast. Underneath, a soft musk keeps the whole thing from turning sweet.
The threads aren't decoration. They're whole saffron, set into the wax by hand, and as the pool melts you can see them suspended in it.
Where our saffron comes from, right now. We're growing our first indoor crop in Jonesboro, Georgia, with harvest expected in late 2026. Until it's ready, the threads in these candles are carefully sourced. When our own harvest comes in, it goes straight into these tins — and we'll say so plainly when that happens.
Sizes
- 50ml — a small pour. Good for a bathroom or a desk, or for trying the scent before committing.
- 4.5oz — the everyday size.
- 8oz — the long burn, for a living room or bedroom.
Care
Trim the wick to a quarter inch before each light. On the first burn, let the melted wax reach the edge of the tin before you put it out — roughly two hours — so the candle doesn't tunnel. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from children, pets, and anything that can catch.
Because these are poured by hand in small batches, the pattern of the saffron threads is different in every tin.
